Mølleværket Studios

Workshops and studios for craftspeople and small design firms, in a former mill district on the Aarhus harbour. The structure is cross-laminated timber on a concrete ground floor. It is the studio’s first building of this size in wood.

The floors are planned as large open bays that tenants divide themselves. Services run only in the corridor ceiling, so a studio can be rebuilt without touching the frame.

Construction started in spring 2025, and the building opens in the winter of 2026.
